Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who come together to make positive, lasting change in communities at home and abroad. Rotary International is a non-profit organization that provides humanitarian services, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill and peace in the world.

Rotary membership is open to individuals who are business and professional leaders committed to humanitarian service, personal and professional development, and building friendships and connections with like-minded individuals. Members of Rotary clubs are called Rotarians.

Rotary clubs typically meet weekly, where members discuss current projects, plan future initiatives, and enjoy fellowship. Each club operates independently and determines its own projects and activities based on the needs of its community.

One of the key aspects of Rotary membership is its focus on the Rotary Foundation, which supports humanitarian projects around the world, such as eradicating polio, providing clean water and sanitation, promoting education, and supporting local community development initiatives.

Rotary membership offers numerous benefits, including networking opportunities, personal and professional development, the chance to make a difference in the world, and the satisfaction of being part of a global community dedicated to service above self.

Annual Dues for Rotary Club of Northern Shenandoah Valley: $300 per member.
